Days: Tues – Friday and now due to popular demand, we are running ‘Open Access’ day sessions in the print workshop on Saturdays too!!

Facilities on site;

Etching press up to A0 size (A1 blankets).

Equipment for dampening  paper inc water bath and blotting sheets.

Drying rack, guillotine which can cut plastic and metal.

Rubber rollers, glass inking up plates, white spirit, rags, metal spatulas.

Facilities for acid based etching (for experienced printmakers only).  

Large plan chest for storage.

Oil based Etching or Litho inks are available to use at an extra cost of  £5.00 per session.

Artists will need to bring their own paper.

Art Van Go in Knebworth stocks a wide range of printmaking papers.

An initial induction including health and safety will need to be undertaken by anyone new to the Digswell Print studio and technical support can be provided where needed, as sessions run alongside usual print group times.
